About
Lori Mirati, owner, the Bright Yellow House of Portland has been designing and hand-crafting Women's Fine Hats for nearly eight years. All are one-of-a-kind originals, and in this time she has produced and sold over 10,000 unique hats, with a permanent in-store display of over 400 hats at any given time. Originally designed exclusively for members of the Red Hat Society, Lori's creations - CrowningLori™ Hats - were available in red, purple and pink only.
 
Now, due to popular demand, Lori has 'branched out' to include hats in a wider variety of colors and styles to appeal to the hat-wearing public in general. As a result she now finds that Custom Order hats... hats designed to match a customer's special outfit ... are becoming more and more popular. And as a compliment to her hats Lori continues to offer a large, ever-expanding selection of fashion accessory items, to include coordinating jewelry, scarves, hair ornaments and hat pins, among other items.
 
Lori Mirati is available as an outside speaker, exhibitor and/or 'impromptu' fashion show coordinator for Special Events, large or small, and is always looking for additional opportunities to introduce CrowningLori™ Hats to fellow hat fanciers in the Portland Metro area, and beyond. She has exhibited and demonstrated at statewide conventions, charitable events, tea parties, private homes and church functions.
